To mark the opening of its flagship Ginza Namiki Boutique, Jaeger-LeCoultre invites collectors and enthusiasts to step inside the legendary Vallée de Joux with Valley of Inventions, an immersive six-day showcase hosted at Roppongi Hills Cafe.
Rooted in the rugged Valais landscape that has nurtured the "Watchmaker of Watchmakers" since 1833, the exhibition traces nearly two centuries of relentlessly pushing mechanical boundaries. Guests will discover over 190 years of technical innovation and artistic mastery through live artisan demonstrations, rare high-complications, and a unique sensory tribute to Swiss craftsmanship.
Exhibition Highlights
Master Craftsmen in Residence: Master watchmakers and enamelers from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares™ workshop will travel from Switzerland to perform live demonstrations, offering guests rare, direct insight into complex movement assembly and fine hand-finishing.
A Four-Part Curated Chronology: The exhibition guides visitors through Jaeger-LeCoultre’s enduring pursuit of precision, arranged in four distinct chapters: Chronometry, Tourbillons, Multi-Axis Gyrotourbillons, and High Complications.
2026 High-Complication Masterpieces: On view are the Maison’s latest flagship achievements, including the ultra-thin Master Hybris Mechanica Minute Repeater, the Master Grand Tradition Tourbillon Jumping Date, and the decorative artistry of the Vallée des Merveilles™ collection.
Made of Makers™ Epicurean Pairing: As part of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s cross-disciplinary cultural initiative, guests will enjoy exclusive, limited-edition cheese creations created by two-star Michelin chef Gilles Varone, offering a culinary interpretation of the Vallée de Joux’s terroir.
